Top Ten Tuesday – Top Ten Books Every X Should Read

Our first weekly meme! We’ll be doing more (we haven’t decided which ones yet), along with monthly memes, so look forward to them! As there’s three of us, we’ll do the memes on rotation, swapping every week, so we all get the chance to do them.

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by those at The Broke and the Bookish. Every week a new ‘Top Ten’ topic appears, and you have to make your own bookish list for it. Anyone can do them, just make sure you link back to their blog! This week the topic is: Top Ten Books Every X Should Read. The X could be anything – history nerd, feminist, ballet dancer, etc. I decided to choose ‘Every Non-Classics Reader Who Needs To Read Classics’. Yeah…a bit of a mouthful, but I chose this topic seeing as I too wasn’t too sure about classics either, I was just more of a YA person, in general. Now I’m getting more into it, but it’s always hard to read classics if you haven’t been reading them most of your life. Therefore, here are ten books that are guaranteed to get you started and into the Classics genre. Enjoy!
